In Entry, an interactive sculptural interface is activated through the repeated crossing of performers and audience members. Via sensors, the movements of these individuals influence the pitch of a continuously resonating electronic sound. The performance starts with a rigid choreographic structure, gradually evolving into an autonomous situation. Thereby it juxtaposes the individuality of each body and specific qualities of movement with a collective, uniform system. Body, space, and sound are inextricably coupled, generating a constantly shifting musical structure.
